Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a wide range of immigration matters including visa applications, asylum claims, appeals, and human rights cases.
• Handle complex and sensitive cases such as family reunions, deportations, immigration detentions, and judicial reviews.
• Prepare and submit detailed legal documents and applications to relevant authorities.
• Represent clients at immigration tribunals, hearings, and court proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and stay informed of updates in UK immigration law and policy.
• Deliver exceptional client care, ensuring clients are fully informed throughout their case.
• Collaborate with team members and external stakeholders to secure successful case outcomes.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate in England and Wales.
• Significant experience in immigration law, particularly asylum and human rights work.
• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Comprehensive and current knowledge of UK immigration rules and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
• A high level of empathy, professionalism, and commitment to defending client rights.
