About the Role
We are hiring trained Onsite AV Event Support Technicians to support Microsoft offices across the EMEA region. This role focuses on delivering seamless in-room and hybrid AV support for scheduled business and executive-level meetings.
This is a non-standard AV role covering high-visibility events, Microsoft Teams meetings, and Teams Live events. Support is delivered through resident or dispatch-based onsite engagements, and only experienced AV engineers will be assigned to these events.
Locations (EMEA)
Open contract roles across multiple Microsoft sites, including:
- United Kingdom: London and other UK locations
- Germany: Berlin and additional sites
- Austria: Vienna
- Estonia: Tallinn
- Other EMEA locations based on event volume and demand
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite AV setup and live event support
- Support Microsoft Teams and Teams Live events
- Assist users with device connectivity (laptops, HDMI, wireless sharing)
- Route content to room displays and video walls
- Test and monitor microphones, cameras, speakers, and audio systems
- Participate in pre-event planning calls and dry runs
- Troubleshoot AV issues in real time during live events
- Remain onsite for the full duration of assigned events
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in AV, event, or meeting room support
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams
- Knowledge of conference room AV systems
- Ability to support executive and business-critical events
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Availability for onsite, scheduled event support
- English required; local language skills are a plus (location dependent)
